In the design of Colégio Reggio Explora, the learning experience transcends the classroom, as space becomes a carefully designed learning tool, aspiring for curiosity and exploration, and encouraging collective experimentation as a main asset for the students education. The building functions as a vertically organized ecosystem, created as an assemblage of different atmospheres with their own set of regulations and climates. Prompting the students to conquer its spaces, from infantary school, positioned on the groundfloor, until the highschool's greenhouse on the top floor, the architecture adopts a transparent position towards waste, water tanks, soil tanks and storage, displaying how the school organism works.
