​"Burocracias interespécies" (interspecies bureaucracies) is a performative installation of speculative character. It proposes to study more-than-human-empathy (empathy between human and object). Formalized as living sculptures made out of biomaterials, the exhibited pieces dissolve the limits between object and organism, thinking the artwork as a perishable performance. The artists Inês Barros and Giovanna Martins invite Catarina Rodrigues and Miguel Limão to participate in the performance of the artworks, exploring corporeal and sound approximations that highlight possibilities on interspecies language.
